I love to garden and I love to give away what I grow. It gives an extra personal touch on a special gift. Are you a gardener? Show off your harvest by using hashtag #Grow2Give on Instagram.
Here is a list of things you can grow in your garden for you to enjoy and have enough to give to others.
Flowers that make a beautiful bouquet.
Roses – David Austin English Roses are beautiful & fragrant.
Hydrangeas – This gorgeous ball of blooms holds well in a vase for up to 4 days.
Zinnias – These are so colorful and so easy to grow. They will instantly put anyone in a better mood.
Gardenia – The blooms are so fragrant their scent can fill a room.
Produce that produces.
Tomatoes – Easy to grow and you won’t be able to eat them all yourself.
Potatoes – Depending on how many plants you have you may have buckets of potatoes.
Fresh Herbs (oregano, basil, thyme, sage etc.) – Dry the herbs out and put in little jars to give out.
Cucumbers – Once cucumbers get growing you can’t keep up. Don’t let a good cucumber go to waste.
