It is Friday and it is quitting time! Move over warm apple pie we are breaking out the blender for a frosty cocktail with apples and cinnamon.

Apples and cinnamon, what lovely Fall flavors to put in a cocktail. I know it is cold outside and I am blending up frozen cocktails but, TRUST ME! Go put on your ugly holiday sweater and your mittens because you won’t want to miss the Big Apple Cocktail this season. I love apple cocktails. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post for a list of more seasonal cocktails.

Want to go above and beyond when making the Big Apple Cocktail? Make your own applesauce. It is really simple, here are the directions on How to Make Applesauce.

Apple Brandy

Apple Brandy has been around since the 1600s. As for my recommendation on Apple Brandy it is Laird’s. The brand has stood the test of time and is a favorite. Even George Washington was a big fan of Laird’s. You are drinking the same stuff as our first President. So there is your boozy history lesson for the day. Have a few drinks and impress your friends with this fun fact. You are welcome! Cheers!

Cocktail Variations

There are a few variations with this cocktail. You can swap out the brandy for vodka or bourbon whiskey. You can also swap out apple juice for apple cider. Instead of a frosty version you can do just chilled or even a little warm.
