Take a bread loaf and slice it, stuff it with butter, garlic and cheeses then bake until golden gooey goodness. My Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread recipe is a great appetizer to share and have a few beers with.
FACT: You can never go wrong with bread and cheese.
Bread and melted gooey cheese is something I could live off of. I can’t turn the stuff down. It is my weakness.
How to Cut the Bread Loaf
First you need a serrated knife. This type of knife is the best knife to cut bread with. Place the loaf on a cutting board. Cut in deep slices taking care not to cut all the way through the loaf. Turn the loaf and repeat. This will give that square pattern.
The Down and Dirty
You are going to get your hands dirty. So keep a kitchen towel nearby. After the bread is slathered in all that butter you going to have to get the cheese in there. You are going to want to push that cheese down in those cracks. Don’t be afraid to man handle this bread. The more it is stretched the better it will pull apart.
Bread loaves come in all shapes and sizes so you may need to adjust bake times.
How to Eat this Ball of Bread and Gooey Cheese
So we didn’t cut the bread all the way through. We stuffed it with cheese and then baked the loaf. Baking gave the loaf a nice toast on the outside. So you know the bread is not going to pull apart in nice perfect rectangles. This isn’t Jenga. The best way to serve and eat this Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread is to pull the loaf apart in sections. Then pull apart the sections to eat.
