Orange Spiced Sweet Tea

Fall inspired Spiced Tea recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 orange peel
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 whole clove
  • 2 family sized tea bags (to make 1 gallon of tea)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar or to taste
  • 6 cups ice

Instructions

  1. Add water, orange peel, cloves and cinnamon stick in a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling remove from heat and add the tea bags.
  3. Let steep for 3-5 minutes.
  4. With a slotted spoon remove orange peel, cloves, cinnamon stick, and tea bags.
  5. Stir in sugar.
  6. Fill a large pitcher with 6 cups of ice.
  7. Pour tea into the pitcher and stir.
  8. Refrigerate
  9. Let the majority of the ice melt before serving.

Recipe Notes

Tips: Add some juice from your orange for extra orange flavor.
