Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Chocolate Cupcakes frosted with a Peanut Butter Frosting and topped with a mini peanut butter cup.
Servings 24 cupcake

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix

For the Frosting

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 Justin's Mini Peanut Butter Cups cut in half

Instructions

  1. Bake chocolate cake mix as directed for cupcakes.

For the Frosting

  1. Beat together the butter and peanut butter.
  2. Slowly add powdered sugar alternating with the milk.
  3. Beat until well mixed and fluffy.

Assembly

  1. Let cupcakes completely cool.
  2. Frost the cupcakes with peanut butter frosting.
  3. Add 1/2 mini peanut butter cup to the top of the cupcake.
