Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 medium sized ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. Grease bundt pan with shortening then sprinkle bundt pan with sugar.
  3. Beat the sugar and butter until well combined.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  5. Mix in vanilla extract.
  6. Mix in mashed bananas.
  7. In a medium mixing bowl combine flour and baking powder.
  8. Add a cup of the flour mixture alternating with the sour cream into the mixture.
  9. Once well combined pour into bundt.
  10. Bake at 325F. for 75 minutes.
  11. Let cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
