  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips


  1. In a stand mixer or with an electric hand mixer beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in vanilla.
  3. Add flour and salt and continue to beat. The dough will be a crumb texture.

  4. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Press dough into 9x9 baking pan (ungreased)
  6. Bake at 350F. for 15 -17 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Let pan cool.
  8. Slide a knife around the edges and turn cookie out onto a cutting board.
  9. Cut cookie into bars or triangles.
