  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar.

Instructions

For the Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.

  3. In a separate bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Pour flour mixture into the stand mixer and mix until well combined.
  5. Butter and dust with flour a 9x9 baking pan.
  6. Pour cake batter into the pan and top with streusel.

  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
  8. While the cake is cooling make the icing.
  9. Once the cake has cooled drizzle icing over the cake.
  10. Serve with a cup of coffee.

For the Streusel Topping

  1. In a mixing bowl using a fork combine both sugars, cinnamon salt, and butter.
  2. Slowly add in flour and use continue to combine using the fork in a cutting action. This will give you that crumbly topping.

For the Icing

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat combine milk and sugar with a whisk.
  2. Continue to whisk until it turns into a nice glaze.
  3. You may add more milk to thin the icing's consistency.

Recipe Notes

Please read the whole recipe before starting.

The recipe has been broken down into 3 separate sections for ingredients and their directions.

  1. Cake
  2. Streusel Topping
  3. Icing

I suggest making the Streusel Topping first. Next, make the cake. While the cake is baking make the icing.
