Baked Acorn Squash
Acorn Squash baked with brown sugar and pecans for a sweet side dish!

Ingredients

Acorn Squash
sliced in half, seeded, and membrane scooped out. (the stringy stuff)

TBS
butter
divided

TBS
brown sugar
divided
2
TBS
chopped pecans
divided
2
pinches
of cinnamon
divided
Instructions
Put Acorn Squash halves in a pot of boiling water and let boil for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350F.
On a small cookie sheet add just enough water to cover the bottom.
Place Acorn Squash on the cookie sheet.
Fill the holes with butter, brown sugar and pecans.
Sprinkle the top with cinnamon.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350F.
Remove from oven and spoon excess melted butter around the rim of the acorn squash.
Serve immediately.
