Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of round bread. Pictured is a sourdough loaf.
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Cut the bread in horizontal slices then vertical slices. Slice deep into the bread but not completely through it.
  3. In a small dish add the butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Microwave for 10 seconds to melt the butter.
  4. Add in the chopped parsley and stir.
  5. Brush the top of the bread with the mixture and spread the bread slices open and pour in the remainder of the butter mixture through out the loaf.
  6. Mix the cheeses together. Spread open the bread slices and stuff with cheese.
  7. Place bread on a tin foil lined cookie sheet.
  8. Place another sheet of tin foil over the bread. Try to make tent so the cheese doesn't melt to the tin foil.
  9. Place in the oven for 20 minutes then remove the tin foil tent.
  10. Continue to bake for 5 minutes.
  11. Remove from oven and serve.
