Here is a quick idea to brighten up your garden. All you need is a little bit of time, a birdhouse or feeder, and spray paint. These small projects are inexpensive and super easy. They add a punch of color and interest to any garden.
Go from Blah to Wow with this quick birdhouse makeover. All you need is a wood birdhouse and a can of spray paint in a bright color. Sanding is optional. I found this birdhouse tossed in the woods. It was dirty and beat up so I sanded it down. I used Krylon Color Master Sun Yellow spray paint. I saw a birdhouse on Pinterest painted this color and had to have it for my garden: Yellow Birdhouse Inspiration
On this wood bird feeder I used Krylon’s Raspberry spray paint. In the sun you can see the gloss but in the shade it looks flat. In sun or shade it is gorgeous in the garden.
The spray paint costs around $7 and dries in 10 minutes. How is that for a quick, easy, and inexpensive garden project?
