Boozy Hot Chocolate

Boozy Hot Chocolate for those cold winter nights. Hot chocolate spiked with amaretto then topped off with toasted marshmallows.

Boozy Hot Chocolate

Baby, it is cold outside and I have the drink that is going to warm you up! Combine your favorite hot chocolate with the smooth almond flavor of Amaretto and you have yourself a boozy hot chocolate.

A warm dessert cocktail is a perfect end to a chilly evening. Add marshmallows or whipped cream to top it off.

Ingredients Needed for Boozy Hot Chocolate (recipe card below)

  • Hot Chocolate (Make with milk and not water for a richer cocktail)
  • Amaretto
  • Marshmallows (optional)
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Chocolate Syrup (optional)

How to Toast Marshmallows Without a Fire

  • Toast marshmallows in the oven by placing marshmallows on a cookie sheet and broiling on high for a few minutes. Keep an eye on the marshmallows they toast quickly.
  • However, a kitchen blowtorch is worth the investment for toasty marshmallows.
