Brown Sugar Bananas

With this batch of Sauteed Bananas in a Brown Sugar Sauce, I made Sundaes. I used vanilla ice cream, fluffy whipped cream, and crunchy toasted coconut. Grab a spoon because it only takes a few minutes to whip up this sundae.

The warm brown sugar bananas melt that vanilla ice cream and the light crunch of the toasted coconut. Best Sundae Ever. This recipe is good for 6 sundaes.

How to Make Brown Sugared Bananas

If you have overripe bananas in the house, put them to good use with this quick and easy recipe!

Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Add the sliced bananas, a sprinkle of brown sugar, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a dash of cinnamon.

Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes until the sugar is melted and the bananas are lightly caramelized.

Serve while warm, over scoops of ice cream, pancakes, French toast, or a slice of pound cake. Enjoy!

Storing Leftovers

If you have leftovers store Brown Sugar Bananas in an airtight container and spoon it over French toast, waffles, or pancakes the next morning.

What is better than a dessert that can be turned into breakfast? Nothing!
