I love Oreo cookies but I especially love them when they are covered in chocolate. I was going to do this recipe like I did my milk chocolate covered Oreos for Valentine’s Day, but decided to turn it into a bark. This method is faster and easier. That is exactly what we need this time of year.
With Christmas drawing near and time seeming to be on fast forward you need something fast and fabulous. This recipe takes 25 minutes from start to a delicious finish. Plus you can take out any stress you may have on bashing some candy canes with a kitchen mallet. Then in 20 minutes, you be enjoying some amazing Peppermint Oreo Bark. Win!
This stuff is like crack. This is peppermint bark with an upgrade. The oreo cookies take this peppermint bark to a whole new level. It is so good. The white chocolate, peppermint, and Oreos taste amazing together.

Ingredients for Peppermint (Candy Cane) Oreo Bark
- White Chocolate
- Candy Canes
- Line your pan with foil. Use enough foil to have it overhanging the edges so you can lift the bark right out of the pan.
- Use a sharp knife when cutting the Oreo Peppermint Bark.
- Do not get distracted while melting chocolate. You don’t want to burn or dry out the chocolate.
- Add this peppermint oreo bark to your holiday cookie tray!
Peppermint Oreo Bark Recipe
Peppermint Oreo Bark
Crushed candy canes with white chocolate and oreo cookies.
- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 16 ounces white chocolate
- 8-10 mini candy canes
Line a 9x9 pan with non-stick foil and let the foil overlap the pan for easy removal.
Line the bottom with Oreo Cookies. Cut 5 Oreo cookies in half to line the edges where whole cookies would not fit.
Break the chocolate into pieces for easy melting.
Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is smooth.
Place candy canes in a plastic sandwich bag and crush candy canes into small pieces and crumbs.
Pour the melted chocolate over the Oreo cookies and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the top of the chocolate.
Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow chocolate to set.
Remove Oreo Peppermint Bark from the pan.
Remove foil and place on a cutting board.
Cut the bark into squares.
