Bourbon infused with sweet dark cherries for a few hours and you have a killer Bourbon Cherry Coke.
I have put these little red gems in and on everything from steak to chocolate this season. Today I am sharing a great cherry cocktail recipe where there is no shame in adding coke to your bourbon.
I soaked these cherries in bourbon and sauteed them with shallots. I put the mixture over grilled steak with Blue Cheese and it was fantastic. I am not one to waste so I dumped the bourbon into my Coke and this cocktail was born.
As if bourbon didn’t already have gorgeous color, the bourbon-infused cherries give it a subtle red that is just stunning!
