Pomegranate, cutting, and eating
The Pomegranate fruit is a superfood. I am not saying drinking is healthy but there are some benefits to consuming the pomegranate arils and juice. So drink up and enjoy!
Be careful when you crack open a pomegranate. They can get messy. I suggest cutting them over a bowl to catch the arils or on a cutting board.
The little white seeds in the arils are edible but are tough. For this recipe, they are a garnish and most likely won’t be eaten.
White Wine
I have also used a Pinot Grigio and it wasn’t as good as the Moscato. In my opinion, don’t deviate from the recipe. Moscatos work best when it comes to white wine cocktails. They are sweeter and pair well with juices.
