I would love for you to believe that as a food blogger I am always in the kitchen and well feed. The truth is, I am constantly busy. I always have a full schedule and while making sure everyone else is taken care of I sometimes forget to take care of myself. Then I find my self starving and “hangry”.
I have a Rite Aid store conveniently located right on the corner where I have to run errands and attend soccer practice. I can run in
and at the check out counter there are the SNICKERS® bars. I always grab several because I know I will have to share. I also like to have some on reserve when the hangry strike occurs.
My favorite is the SNICKERS® with Peanut Butter. My husband’s favorite is SNICKERS® with Almonds. We will typically share, meaning, “Hey can I get a bite of yours.” From hangry to happy is less than a few seconds away.
There is nothing like being on the go all day and then having to sit and do nothing at soccer practice. I would sit there for an hour thinking about all the things that needed to be done and be starving. You can imagine the monster I would become! Now before practice I run into the store grab sports drinks for the kids and SNICKERS® for me. Ok, I get SNICKERS® for everyone.
When I have a deadline and can’t leave my desk for a meal I will grab a SNICKERS® Peanut Butter. It will hold me over until my project is finished and keep me from biting anyone’s head off that enters my office!
