Holiday Bourbon Punch

Citrus, spice and everything nice went in to making this Holiday Bourbon Punch. It is the perfect “house drink” at your next holiday party.

I was provided with a bottle of Four Roses Bourbon to create an original recipe.

Holiday Bourbon Punch. Citrus, spice and everything nice went in to making this Holiday Bourbon Punch. It is the perfect "house drink" at your next holiday party.

We put a bottle of Four Roses Bourbon in front of us and decided to make a holiday punch surrounding the smooth flavor of the bourbon. The bourbon has hints of pear and apple that compliment the floral aromas and mixed with a taste of honey and spice. It is perfect for the Fall and Winter hitting those taste notes of the seasons. I added to it with apple cider and a cinnamon spiced orange tea.

Holiday Bourbon Punch

We set out all of our favorite Holiday flavors on the table and spent the afternoon taste testing to come up with the perfect holiday punch. So what ingredients made the cut? Apple Cider, Orange Spiced Sweet Tea, Cranberries, Oranges and Rosemary.

Holiday Bourbon Punch.

As one friend put it, “It is the Holidays in a glass.” Now that we got the flavors down it was time to make it on a larger scale. The Holiday Bourbon Punch came together and tasted amazing. Now that we have this punch it was time to have a party.

Notice the different pictures. I made this punch again in 2016. A friend was having a pig roast and I brought the punch. I knew it was a crowd pleaser and since everyone knows I am a food blogger the expectation was set high. This was a hit last year and of course it was a hit again with this crowd. Plus it is really pretty.

It’s a holiday party and you are not going to be playing bartender all night. There is an intense game of Jenga going on and your master architectural skills are needed. Throw in some ice and put out cocktail garnishes and let the party and games begin.
