Blue Cheese Cookies are a savory cookie similar to cheese straws but made with rich blue cheese and topped with fruit preserves.

Do you LOVE blue cheese? I mean really love blue cheese. I do! You have to be a fan of Blue Cheese to like these savory cookies. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

This is not a sweet cookie. This is a savory cookie with blue cheese and cayenne pepper that really sets off the flavors. The fruit preserves cool the strong flavors down. This Blue Cheese cookie is like a cheese straw. These cookies are not dessert they are an appetizer.

The Preserves I Tried for the Filling:
I tried out the following: Strawberry, fig, cherry, and apricot.
I liked them all but the apricot. The flavors did not do well together and I would not recommend it. And the winner? Strawberry was by far my favorite. If you try one of the other fillings, let me know what your thoughts are.
