Let’s get the party started with a round up of some of my favorite cocktails. When guests arrive have a “House Drink” that you can mix up and hand to your guest as they are walking into the party.
Throw out the idea of proper and matching glassware. A martini doesn’t have to be served in a martini glass. Those glasses can be awkward anyway. You don’t have to spend big bucks on glassware just head over to your local thrift shop and scoop up all the interesting shaped glasses you can find. Another bonus of having different shaped glasses is that it takes the guessing out of whose drink is whose?
