Hot buttery biscuits covered in a warm chocolate gravy and sprinkled with bacon crumbles.
I had a friend over for coffee the other morning and I made biscuits
and chocolate gravy. They are so good! If you are not sure of how
chocolate and biscuits will taste, it reminds me of a chocolate frosted
donut. Brush bacon grease or butter on the tops of the biscuits before
baking. It gives the biscuits extra flavor that works so well with the
sweetness of the chocolate gravy.
The first time I had biscuits and chocolate gravy was when I was a kid. I spent the night with a friend and her mother made this for us. Talk about a bunch of happy kids!
