Pull Apart Sloppy Joe Sliders with King’s Hawaiian Rolls and homemade Sloppy Joe sauce recipe.
This is one of my go-to dinner recipes for when I am short on time. Life is busy between two kids with their homework, activities and work. When it is a busy weekday, dinner is simply this: Pull Apart Sloppy Joe Sliders and some potato chips. Even though the sliders are small my boys can eat 2 to 3 of them and be full. These are also great after a soccer or ball game. The kids are so hungry they gobble these up.
They are really good, easy to eat, fun to pull apart and deliciously messy! Plus the Sloppy Joe sauce is homemade. Not something out of a can that has a shelf life of 2 years.
The homemade Sloppy Joe sauce is made with grocery staples. You most likely already have everything you need in your kitchen cabinet. I love how inexpensive this meal is too! This meal is a hit with the kids because I finely dice up the onion and bell pepper. If the sauce was chunky they wouldn’t touch the sandwiches.
Change things up for the bigger kids and use regular size buns.
